This page describes the embedded Calendar control for the UX; it is not as fully-featured as the Calendar Component.

A common use of a calendar control, particularly on travel sites, is to have users enter a 'start' and 'end' date into the calendar, or an 'arrival' and 'departure' date. It is desirable to be able to prevent the user from being able to enter an 'end' date that is before their 'start' date or even the current date. Fortunately this is fairly easy to accomplish in Alpha Anywhere.

A slider control is a graphical way of displaying and entering one or two numeric values. Our slider control is touch-sensitive on mobile devices and PC touch screens, and typically takes less screen real estate than a scroll bar.

Open a Calendar component in a pop-up window, or in a DIV on the current page.

The DLG_HDATE dialog component sets the "from" date to use in the filter expression that selects records for the GRD_HISTCUST and GRD_HISTQUAN grid components.

The Calendar Component is a simple yet powerful web component that gives you an events calendar to with 8 different views, a drag and drop interface, easy integration with other components, and easy binding to SQL Databases or DBF.

The Calendar Component allows you to display appointments that are stored in a SQL or DBF table in a calendar. New appointments can be added by clicking on the calendar. Existing appointments can be edited or moved.
